That includes future publications, fundraisers, events, etc.

In my mind, this is not only a space to feature your work but an opportunity for us to help each other out.

I welcome your resourcefulness, your use of unconventional methods and materials, and I am vehemently opposed to the idea that how much money/status you have has anything to do with your spirit.

I have been working on Trash Wonderland in one form or another for over 6 years. What made me decide to finally launch this platform?

A pattern of disrespect and lack of care. Often from authority figures. People who weren’t used to artists standing up for themselves and their friends and were horrified that I would state a boundary or a request.

I don’t think I’m better than you and I will expect the same from you.

I am going to put a link to donate on the first issue. I will basically frame it as a tip option. I will gather the tips received and distribute them among contributing artists. If there is not enough to distribute I will throw in a few dollars myself. I wish I could give more but I do work minimum wage. I have decided not to let a lack of funds delay this project and I assure you, if I ever start to have more resources, I will share them.
